Carson concluded preseason with 12-1 record, but coach Rob Streeter said, "We had a good preseason, but that doesn't mean much. Last year, we had a 12-0 preseason, but finished 6-6 in division play. We're looking to improve on that 6-6 record." Carson plays at Reno on Friday at 3:45 p.m.
