The United Religious Science Church of Carson City, 675 Fairview, Drive Suite 218, invites the public to its annual Candle Lighting Ceremony at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve. The celebration of the birthday of Jesus will be done in song with full congregation participation in the lighting ceremony. The Revs. Gil and Gail Lindsley will lead this inspirational service.
Attendees will also get a preview of the recently completed remodeling before the open house planned for January.
The church believes that joy is the infallible sign of faith and this ceremony promotes just such a response.
