Brief: Maj. Gen. Clark speaks

Maj. Gen. Drennan Anthony Clark, adjutant general for the state of Nevada and commander of the Air and Army National Guards, recently spoke at the monthly meeting of the Retired Officers Association at the Ormsby House.

Clark presented a detailed description of the component units of both guards, their mission, deployability, and their readiness to assist civilian authorities in the event of Y2K problems that may develop in traffic control and civil disobedience .

Clark joined the Nevada Air National Guard in 1960. After completing law school at the University of San Francisco in 1964, he received his juris doctorate. He has received numerous military awards and decorations including the distinguished Service Medal.
