Brief: Retired Public Employees meets

The Carson City Chapter of Retired Public Employees of Nevada will meet at 2 p.m. Jan. 4, at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive.

Guest speaker will be Richard Moreno, publisher of Nevada Magazine and author of the Backyard Traveler, which appears weekly in the Nevada Appeal. Refreshments will be served and a cash drawing held.
