A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday on suspicion of sexual assault after a woman told deputies he broke into her house and forced himself on her.
Pedro Molina Perez is alleged to have broken the screen at about 12 a.m. on a woman's door in the 200 block of Jeanell before entering her house. The woman said that once inside, Perez grabbed her, grabbed her crotch and tried to kiss her neck.
At one point, she told deputies she was able to leave when he started to pass out.
Perez was brought to the sheriff's office for questioning where he stated that the events were consensual. He was subsequently charged with sexual assault and home invasion with bail set at $75,000.
Perez is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
Two Carson City men were arrested Friday after they allegedly refused to sign a ticket, according to reports. One man is suspected of kicking a sheriff's deputy.
Elder Brian, 29, and Timothy Dyer, 41, were confronted near the 5600 block of Morgan Mill Road about reports that they were causing a disturbance by riding motorcycles too close to houses.
When the officer asked them to sign a complaint, they reportedly refused. After they were warned several times to comply, the arresting officer struggled with the pair while trying to arrest them, reports indicate. Elder allegedly kicked the officer in the shin.
The men were arrested and Dyer was charged with misdemeanor disturbance and resisting, while Elder faces an additional felony charge of battery on a peace officer. Elder's bail was set at $30,000.
