Capital Nevada Toastmasters offers speech course

Capital Nevada Toastmasters has begun a nine-week Speechcraft public speaking course. Speechcraft gives individuals a chance to hone their public speaking skills and practice speaking in front of a group.

Each week experienced Toastmasters present the fundamentals of verbal communication in a relaxed atmosphere of a Toastmaster's meeting. The series involves a variety of communication situations and the principles learned are basic to any form of interpersonal communications, whether the audience consists of one person or one thousand people.

Toastmaster's gives each member an opportunity each week to speak in a variety of format - organized speeches, impromptu speaking, or evaluation of others. The meetings are designed to be supportive.

Capital Nevada Toastmasters invites the public to attend and guests are always welcome. The meetings are at noon each Tuesday at B'Sghetti's Restaurant.
