Carson chamber to hold political candidate luncheon forums

A series of political candidate luncheon forums will be presented by the Carson City Area Chamber of Commerce to allow the general public, business and Chamber members the opportunity to meet and acquaint themselves with the candidates, their views and platforms.

Forum No. 1 is Candidates for Carson City Mayor, held from noon-1:30 p.m. July 19 at the Pinon Plaza; Forum No. 2 is Justice of the Peace candidates - Dept. 1 and 2, from noon-1:30 p.m. July 27 at the Ormsby House; Forum No. 3 is Candidates for City Supervisor, Wards 2 and 4, noon-1:30 p.m. Aug. 2 at the Carson Nugget, and Forum No. 4 is Candidates for State Assembly - District 40 held from noon-1 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Carson Nugget.

The forums include lunch and an opportunity for the public to question the candidates. All forums are open to the general public at a cost of $15 for Chamber members and $18.50 for non-members.
