Carson drivers need to be more careful

My name is Nick Cooper, and I'm 12 years old. On Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 7:25, I was crossing the crosswalk on my bike at Fifth and Roop streets. Even though I had the pedestrian signal, I was hit by a car that was turning left. I wasn't injured except for a few bruises. I was shaken up more than anything.

In the new year, I hope that Carson City motorists will be more careful entering intersections with crosswalks and more considerate of pedestrians.
