Milo John Reese, the anti-brothel activist who stage his own disappearance in November, received a bill from the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Dec. 2 in the amount of $8,761.06. The bill is for reimbursement to Washoe County for expenses incurred in the search and investigation into Reese's mysterious disappearance. Reese has responded to the bill by sending a check for $500 to the sheriff's office with a note attached stating he would pay the remainder as soon as he was able to do so.
According to a press release, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office is still unhappy with Reese's hoax, but is pleased he is trying to pay back his debt.
