Humane Society goal: No homeless pets

The Capitol City Humane Society is working on building a no-kill facility. In the meantime, we are seeking those people willing to provide a temporary foster home for a dog or cat until we find an adoptive home for them. More information may be obtained by calling Shirley at 884-4232.

If you want to adopt an animal, let us know what you are looking for (breed, male, female, kitten, puppy, large or small dog, etc.) We do have a spay/neuter requirement for adoption. We will assist in the cost of such if we can't get it at no cost.

Many, many thanks for helping Carson City and us to accomplish our goal, a nationwide mission: No more homeless animals by 2006.
