On Easter Sunday while I was out enjoying an Easter dinner, two dogs broke through my fence and fatally attacked my dog. Being a law abiding citizen I decided to call the proper authorities (big mistake). Although they took pictures of my dog and my yard, that is the only assistance they have provided.
I am sure that somewhere there is a large volume of rules and regulations that pertain to the services they are supposed to be enforcing. Maybe I am expecting too much from them, but I certainly deserve better answers than "it's not our responsibility, or there's nothing we can do about it."
Why is it that the more complaints that are made the less they do? Perhaps it is because I don't personally know anyone there. It seems to me that if they truly were capable of doing what is required of them. Then I would not be accusing them of negligence.
Unfortunately some poor individual out there will be paying for Animal no-Service/no-Control's total lack of responsibility to the community's safety and well-being.
My advice to everyone is act first and call them last, as you will receive the desired result much quicker. I will no longer try to rely on their incompetence to resolve my disputes, because I am tired of their persistent do-nothing attitude.
Carson deserves much better than what is being provided by this entity. I don't honestly believe that they are fulfilling the needs of the community that they were empowered by. Perhaps we should reassess the squandering of our tax dollars on the no-service/no-control policy of this department.
