Letter: Postmaster, this lady needs your help

I am so exasperated I could spit! Now that is pretty exasperated.

Last week I wrote letters regarding the stupid idea of building the bike trail right on the freeway! Dumb, to say the least. These four letters I sent to Governor Guinn, Attorney General Del Papa, Ed Wilson at the State Board of Transportation and to Mayor Masayko. No address in the phone book, that I could find, so called the Chamber of Commerce and was given some addresses. Two were returned insufficient address. Tried it again, returned again; two 33 cent stamps on each. These letters were addressed to the Mayor and to Ed Wilson.

Call the Camber of Commerce and Larry answered, not too concerned, it seemed. He didn't give me the phone number of the post office here in Carson, but an 800 number in Colorado? I asked for the postmaster's name here in Carson and the phone number. Of course, they didn't know as well as Larry didn't know. But I thought he should have been able to give me both the number and the name of the postmaster. Am I expecting too much?

Called the city manager, didn't remember her name. She did say that I had the correct addresses on these letters.

So if there are no phone numbers for the post office here and the postmaster doesn't want the botheration of such as I who just want my letters delivered, where do I get my answers? It isn't as if I don't have any other things to do. Just follow me around any given day.

If anybody can give me some decent answers, I would surely appreciate it.

Perplexed and exasperated.
