Letter: Toy Run

My husband and I participated in the Stew Carnall Memorial Christmas Toy Run sponsored by Sharkeys Nugget, Wandering Wheels and Carson Harley Davison. It was a huge success.

We just wanted to let people know that there were quite a variety of motorcycles such as Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki, BMW, Yamaha, Harley and people who drove their cars and trucks to this event to make it a success. It wasn't just a Harley riders' event as was mentioned in the Oct. 17 Nevada Appeal by writer Rex Bovee.

Also, there was no mention of Nevada Wandering Wheels who worked hard along with Sharkeys Nugget to make this event possible. It's time the other bikers get the credit they deserve for good services to the community.
