The Marine Corps League Silver State Detachment and Auxiliary will hold this month's dinner and meetings at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Carson City at the Veterans' Administration Hall.
All Marines and spouses from Carson City, Douglas, Lyon and parts of Storey counties and Washoe Valley are invited to attend. Call 882-7864 for reservations.
Department of Nevada Marine Corps League Commandant Ronald L. Brown conducted installation of officers and presented the Legion of Honor Humanitarian Award to Chaplain Edward Small at the March meeting. New officers are Commandant Dave Wyble Sr., Senior Vice Commandant Bob Sargent, Junior Vice Commandant Don Podlas, Paymaster Bob Delaski, Adjutant David Fenlon, Chaplain Ed Small, Judge Advocate Don Bentson, Sergeant at Arms John Wyble, trustees Larry Cowden and Dennis Nix.
