A memorial for Agnes "Aggie" Catherine Aubin, 62, a Carson City area resident for the past 32 years, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City.
Ms. Aubin died June 25, 2000 at Carson Healthcare Center. She was born April 13, 1938 in Detroit to John Aubin and Florence Renaud Aubin. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Prior to living in Carson City and Reno she resided in Detroit.
Ms. Aubin was a writer and miniaturist.
She had a compassion for all living things, be it humans, animals or plants. Her sense of compassion, humor and conversation will be missed.
Among her survivors are her daughters Laura Laney of Arizona, Jennifer Myers of California, Rebecca Aubin Pickett of Utah and Rachel Doering of Nevada; son Phillip Laney of California; brothers Jim Aubin of Michigan, Andre Aubin of California and Cliff Aubin of Arizona, sister Margaret of Michigan, and five grandchildren.
Cremation is under the direction of FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
