A funeral for Anna Irene Taylor, 74, a Carson City resident for the past 12 years, and former Smith Valley resident since 1964, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Taylor died May 21, 2000, at Northern Nevada Hospital. She was born March 31, 1926, in Kansas.
Mrs. Taylor was a cook in the Smith Valley schools. She enjoyed crafts, knitting and pottery.
She was preceded in death by husband George A. Taylor in 1954 and Adrian Taylor in 1967.
Among her survivors are her sons, Mike of Dayton, Jim of Flora, Ill. and Adrian of Winnemucca; daughter, Lucinda Lawson of Reno; brother, Louis Hargrave of Lenordville, Kan.; sister, Margaret Larson of Kansas City, Kan.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
