Anna Theresa Cash, 82, of Carson City died Thursday at Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks.
She was born June 18, 1917, in Rosemead, Calif., to Frank and Maddie Kadenger Forst.
Mrs. Cash, a homemaker, had lived in Carson City for 23 years, coming from Castiac, Calif. She was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church and a longtime volunteer for the American Red Cross, the Girl Scouts, 4-H, the Parent Teacher Association and Women's Club Hospitality.
She was preceded in death by husband Charles Cash in June 30, 1999, in Carson City and by a brother, Harold Forst.
Survivors include a brother, Francis Forst, and a sister, Marion Bishop, both of Castiac; sons James Cash of Glendale, Calif.; John Cash of Las Vegas, and Christopher Cash of Carson City; daughters Charlene Rio of Chatsworth, Calif., and Barbara Weitzel of Santa Clarita, Calif.; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be read Monday at 7 p.m. at FitzHenry's Funeral home, 833 North Edmonds Drive in Carson City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Carson City. Burial will follow in Lone Mountain Cemetery. FitzHenry's is in charge of arrangements.
