Bernard E. Supera, 70, died March 22, 2000, at the Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Okla. He was born Oct. 5, 1929, in Carson City, to Bernard Eugene Sr. and Mariana Arrocentena Supera.
He married Bonnie Rose Brewster Aug. 4, 1971, in Reno.
Mr. Supera was a federal court clerk in Reno for 27 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He moved to Grove, Okla., in 1979. After moving, he worked as a custodian for the Grove Public Schools. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Grove, No. 2033, and the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Among his survivors are his wife; daughters, Lynn Alsup and husband, Rick, of Concord, Calif., Marie Supera, of Carson City and Janet Hampton and husband, Charles, of Grove; brother, Leon, of Reno; sister, Theresa, of Sparks; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held in Grove.
Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
