Obituary: Dennis Sporl

A memorial service for Dennis Sporl, 43, a Carson City resident for the past 12 years, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.

Mr. Sporl died June 4, 2000 at his home. He was born Sept. 19, 1956, in San Francisco to Henry and Marjorie Burns Sporl.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in San Francisco.

Mr. Sporl was a Catholic.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Among his survivors are his mother Marjorie Sporl of Carson City; brother William and wife Karen Myer Jr. of Dayton and nephews William Myer III of Dayton and Jason Myer of Las Vegas.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
