Donald Edwin Wilson Sr., 59, a longtime Mound House resident, died June 19, 2000, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born June 30, 1940, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to Howard and Ellen Whiteaker Wilson.
Mr. Wilson retired from Lockheed Aeronautical after 30 years of employment. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his wife of 28 years, Linda of Mound House; sons James of Kennesaw, Ga., David of Canyon Country, Calif. and Donald E. Jr. of LaPalma, Calif.; daughter Julie Wilson of Little Rock, Ark. and Tina Hayworth of Oakview, Calif.; brother Bob of Lakeside, Calif. and Dale of Vista, Calif.; mother-in-law Peggy Truttman of Carson City and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is pending.
Cremation will be at Truckee Meadows Crematory, Sparks.
Reno Memorial Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
