Visitation for Evaline S. Groghan, 83, a Carson City resident for the past five years, will be from noon-7 p.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Groghan died June 10, 2000, at her home. She was born Nov. 18, 1916, in Elkins, W.Va. to William Bernard Leslie and Minnie Stainaker Scott.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Elkins.
Mrs. Groghan was retired. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Elkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Pat; daughter Mary Orvis; sister Mary Scott and brothers Stanley, Willard and Paris Scott.
Among her survivors are her grandsons Steve Orvis of Gardnerville and Scott Orvis of Carson City.
Burial will be at Elkins IOOF Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
