A memorial service for Frank M. Haney, 66, a Dayton resident for the past three years, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Carson City.
Mr. Haney died Nov. 6, 1999, at his residence. He was born July 7, 1933, in FitzHenry, Pa., to George M. and Anna Johnston Haney.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Los Angeles County.
Mr. Haney was an automobile mechanic. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carson City.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his wife, Dorothy and son, George, both of Dayton; daughter, Gloria Nichols, of St. Albans, W.V.; brother, Jim, of Youngwood, Pa.; sisters, Jean Friend, of FitzHenry and Betty Farlow, of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
