A funeral for Gus H. Johnson, 74, a Carson City resident for the past 22 years, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Galt Lutheran Church in Galt, Calif.
Mr. Johnson died June 7, 2000, at his home. He was born Oct. 28, 1925, in Elk Grove, Calif., to Gustaf and Louise Coyle Johnson.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Concord, Calif.
Mr. Johnson was a plasterer.
He was preceded in death by his brother Oscar.
Among his survivors are his wife Raye, son, Michael and daughter Rebecca Reasonor, all of Carson City; brothers, Jack of Woodridge, Calif., Carl of Sacramento, Calif. and Kenny, Robert and Arvid, all of Galt; sisters, Dorothy Gross of Galt, Jeanne Cartwright of Stockton, Calif. and Irene Bradford of Elk Grove, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at the Galt Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
