Ida Irene Boggs, 89, a Carson City resident for the past 25 years, died May 23, 2000, at her home. She was born July 20, 1910, in Mount Pleasant, Utah, to Peter Angelo and Mary Fechser Christensen.
Mrs. Boggs was a homemaker. She enjoyed her poodle, Tiny Tim, and camping, fishing and gold panning.
She was preceded in death by her husband Babe; daughter Benita; sister Bernice and brothers Ted, Ken, Earl and Ralph.
Among her survivors are her daughter Laureen Puckett of Carson City; brothers Maiben Christensen of Salt Lake City and Evan Christensen of Sparks; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
