A graveside service for Ina Mary Miller, 79, a Gardnerville resident for the past 25 years, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Atascadero, Calif.
Mrs. Miller died March 9, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born March 17, 1920, in Lancaster, Calif., to Sam and Clara McDougall Ming.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Atascadero.
Mrs. Miller was the owner of Miller Jewelry Store. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting and gardening and loved her animals. She was active in the state museum, Republican Women and Pythian Sisters and was a member of the Eastern Star in Atascadero.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Earl Jr; son William K. and sister Loreen Leary.
Among her survivors are her son Charles of Carson City; daughter Sherri Arlit of Gardnerville; brother Wilbur Lundy of California and five grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
