Obituary: Irene Kruse

Irene Elizabeth Kruse, 77, a Gardnerville resident for the past three years, died Feb. 29, 2000, at her residence. She was born March 7, 1922, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Joseph and Bessy Pink McKee.

Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Palmdale, Calif., for seven years.

Mrs. Kruse was a car case follow-up employee in the automotive industry for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and she loved her dog Cookie.

She was preceded in death by her husband; brother Robert McKee and sisters, Lucille Warrum and Betty Montgomery.

Among her survivors are her four sons, Michael Webb of Gardnerville, Jeff Webb of Palmdale, Roger Webb of Hesperia, Calif. and Randy Webb of Soap Lake, Wash.; daughter, Patricia Reliford of Gardnerville; brother William McKee of Indianapolis, Ind.; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Oakwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Chadsworth, Calif.

Walton's Douglas County Mortuary, Minden, is in charge of arrangements.
