Obituary: Kindra Renee Boni

Private family services were conducted Oct. 25 for Kindra Renee Boni, who died Oct. 22, 1999, at Washoe Medical Center in Reno as a result of a car accident. She was 17.

Miss Boni was born June 10, 1982, at Long Beach, Calif., and had been a resident of Lake Tahoe since 1993. She was a senior at George Whittell High School and attended college at Western Nevada Community College. Her summer was spent in Spain perfecting her Spanish in hopes of pursuing a career in languages. An accomplished pianist and musician, Miss Boni enjoyed all the benefits of living in the mountains including snowboarding, hiking, water sports and scenic photography. Even in death Kindra gave "life" as an organ donor.

Survivors include her mother, Jerilyn Fry of Stateline; father, Bill Boni of Orange, Calif.; brother, Kristopher Boni of Stateline; stepfather, Brad Fry of Stateline; sisters, Sydney Davis of Pollock Pines, Calif., and Jenifer Croft of Yerington; grandparents, Fern Sublette of Vista, Calif., Jerry Yogoda of Spokane, Wash., and Marie Boni of Boulder City; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
