A memorial service for Lee H. Field, 61, a Zephyr Cove resident for the past 10 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at The Fresh Ketch, 2435 Venie Drive, South Lake Tahoe.
Mr. Field died Jan. 2, 2000, at his residence. He was born Sept. 6, 1938, in Omaha, Neb., to Irwin Faye and Helen Bernice Johnson Field.
He married Catherine J. Basas March 22, 1988, in Hayward, Calif.
Before moving to Zephyr Cove, he lived in the California Bay Area.
He received his credentials from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1968.
Mr. Field taught art and English at Davis Senior High School from 1968-79. He had been facilities manager at Harrah's Casino since 1990 and he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Field.
Among his survivors are his wife, Catherine J., of Zephyr Cove; sons, Kevin, of Bend, Ore., Gill Castillo, of Oakley, Calif. and Perry Castillo, of Reno; daughter, Kelly Wolfe, of Cottage Grove, Ore.; sister, Bernice Pierce, of Seaside, Ore. and 10 grandchildren.
Private inurnment will be held.
Cremation will be at Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary, Minden, is in charge of arrangements.
