Mary Edith (nee Katrulya) Bozulich, 90, a Carson City resident for the past 23 years, died Sept. 25, 1999, at Carson Health Care. She was born Jan. 27, 1909, in Austria-Hungary (now known as Croatia) to Louise and Joseph Katrulya. She arrived in the United States as an infant.
Prior to moving to Carson City, she lived in Hoquiam, Wash., where she moved from San Pedro, Calif.
Mrs. Bozulich was a homemaker and loved to bake and cook for family and friends. She loved to read and was a devoted wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas John, in 1962; sister, Rose in 1962; and brother John earlier this year.
Among her survivors are her son, Raymond Rudolph, of Minden; daughter, Evelyn Cleye, of Washoe Valley; sisters, Lena Edwards, Eva Kolbinsky and Mildred Sansone, all of the New York area; grandchildren, David, Rosemarie and Nicholas Bozulich, of this area; great-grandchildren, James Raymond Dyer and Julie Ann Balderson of Carson City; and numerous nieces, nephews and stepgrandchildren.
A memorial family gathering and private burial were held at Green Hills Memorial Park in San Pedro.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
