Obituary: Norman J. Nish

Norman J. Nish, 80, a Carson City resident for the past 22 years, died April 11, 2000, at his residence. He was born March 11, 1920, in Plymouth, Utah, to Virgil and LaVern Hess Nish.

He married Molly Garcia Sept. 28, 1946, in Reno.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Alameda, Calif., for 15 years.

Mr. Nish was a commercial fisherman. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and loved to hunt. He served in the U.S.Army during World War II.

Among his survivors are his wife of 53 years Molly and daughters Norma Gregg, Gisele Nish and Janine Nish all of Carson City.

By his request a private service will be held.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
