Obituary: Peggy Jo Cushman

A graveside service for Peggy Jo Cushman, 42, a Wellington resident for the past 24 years, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mottsville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cushman died April 5, 2000, at her home. She was born Dec. 21, 1957, in Richmond, Calif., to Charles and Martha Cabel Nagel.

Before moving to Wellington, she lived in Richmond, Calif.

Mrs. Cushman worked at Topaz Lodge at Topaz Lake for 22 years. She loved to ride her Harley, her granddaughter and life in general. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Topaz Ranch Estates.

Among her survivors are her husband of 22 years Matt L. Sr.; mother Martha J. Baker of Ft. Worth, Texas; son Matthew L. Jr. of Wellington; daughter Latisha R. Nagel of Gardnerville; brother Greg Nagel of Grass Valley, Calif.; sisters Jana Simpson and Tamara Nagel both of Fort Worth and granddaughter Kayla Johnson of Gardnerville.

Interment will be at Mottsville Cemetery.
