A graveside service for Robert "Bob" Warren Curry, 60, a Carson City resident for the past nine years, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City.
Mr. Curry died June 23, 2000 at his residence. He was born Aug. 12, 1939 in Santa Cruz, Calif. to Nettie Frazier Curry. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Prior to living in Carson City he resided in South Lake Tahoe for 15 years.
Mr. Curry worked in kitchen maintenance with the Nugget Casino.
He was a member of the Clampers in Virginia City and the '49ers Booster Club. He loved his dogs, fishing and the outdoors.
Among his survivors are his wife Anna Curry of Carson City; sons Robert Warren Curry of Stockton, Calif. and Joey Pitts of Eureka, Calif., and daughter Cheyenne Curry of Sacramento.
Burial will be held after the service. There will also be a wake for Mr. Curry at 7 p.m. July 5 at the U'Al Come Back Saloon. Everyone attending is asked to bring a food dish and celebrate the life of a great friend.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
