Robert Craig, 88, a Carson City resident for the past 30 years, died May 20, 2000, at his home. He was born Nov. 13, 1911, in Berkeley, Calif., to George W. and Alice Malline Craig.
Mr. Craig worked in mining most of his life. He enjoyed meeting people and loved the out-of-doors and mining.
Among his survivors are his son, Robb and daughter, Deborah Sterba, both of Los Altos, Calif.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be at a later time this summer.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
