A funeral for Robert Rolland Reykers, 63, a Carson City resident for the past 21 years, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at FitzHenry's.
Mr. Reykers died June 2, 2000, at his office. He was born April 21, 1937, in Chicago, Ill., to Henry and Edna Bruhen Reykers.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Los Gatos, Calif.
Mr. Reykers was the owner of Reykers Painting Company. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners and the Scottish Rite. He was also a member of Nevada-California Contractors Board, officer of the California Painters Union and member of the Mustang Car Club in Reno. He was an avid bowler.
He had served in the U.S. Air Force.
Among his survivors are his wife, Beverly of Carson City; sons, Robert Rolland Jr. of Las Vegas, Steve Sclafani of Gardnerville and Tony Sclafani of Carson City; daughters, Deborah Jean Murnane of Haverton, Pa., Linda Jean Reykers of Reno, Jo Vanderdoes of Carson City, Tiny Lonchar of Fontana, Calif., and Karen Slafani of Fortuna; sister, Jennette Brandt of Santa Clara, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
