Thomas L. Evans, 65, died Oct. 19, 1999, after a brief illness. He was born June 11, 1934, in Erie, Pa.
He graduated from Brown University in Providence, R.I.
Mr. Evans worked as a human resources professional for more than 38 years and was still active as a consultant at the time of his death. He had lived in Nevada since 1964 working at the Nevada Test Site; Harrah's Casinos in Reno, Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas; Summa Corporation of Las Vegas and Harveys Casino Resorts based in Lake Tahoe, where he retired as Corporate Vice President of Human Resources in 1995.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Among his survivors are his wife, Ann, of Carson City; son, Thomas, of Lakewood, Colo. and daughter, Lisa Ann, of Portland, Ore.
At his request, no service will be held.
