Obituary: Wilma Loftin

Wilma Loftin, 91, a Carson City resident for the past 24 years, died Dec. 18, 1999, at her residence.

No services will be held.

Ms. Loftin was born Aug. 13, 1908, in Glazier, Texas to Will and Grace Dial Mortimer. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dail Mortimer in 1994 in Denver.

Prior to living in Carson City, she resided in Hawthorne, where she lived from 1948-1975, coming from Manhattan, Kansas.

Ms. Loftin was a retired cashier for the gaming industry.

She was a member of the Lyoness Club in Hawthorne.

Among her survivors are her daughter, Mary Jo Mongelli of Carson City; sister, Jane Cragg of Manhattan, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Cremation is under the direction of FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
