Mrs. Reinschmidt died April 24, 2000, at her home. She was born Aug. 24, 1935, in Los Angeles, to Silas E. and Etta Mae Pruitt Carter.

She married Paul L. Reinschmidt Jr. Nov. 6, 1954, in Los Angeles.

Before moving to Stateline, she lived in Tujunga, Calif.

Mrs. Reinschmidt was a homemaker. She loved tap dancing and camping. She enjoyed sewing in her youth and her life was centered around her grandchildren. She was a member of the South Lake Tahoe Senior Citizens Tap Dancing Club and she was a Protestant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Among her survivors are her husband, Paul L. Jr. of Stateline; sons, Michael T. of Elko and Peter of Carson City; brother, Robert O. Carter of Three Rivers, Calif. and four grandchildren, Bryan, Sarah, Paul III and Peter.
