The National Quilting Association, Inc. and three local Nevada quilt guilds, Carson Valley Quilt Guild in Douglas County, Creative Quilters of Nevada and Truckee Meadows Quilters from Reno, are bringing to Reno the NQA's 31st annual quit show, "Just For Fun." This is one of the few times the show has been held in the west and the first time ever in Reno. The show will be held June 22 through June 25 at the Reno Sparks Convention Center, 4590 S. Virginia St. Hours for the show featuring a judged competition of over 400 quilts are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. A large merchant's mall will be present along with the quilts. Entry to the show is $10 per day.

All events are open to the general public, though advance registration is recommended for the workshops, lectures, Roundup and Friday night banquet. Event tickets may be purchased on a space available basis at the NQA registration booth located near the hotel registration desk at the Atlantis Casino Resort. For a copy of the registration booklet send $1.50 to Sue Muller, publicity chair, 987 Haystack Drive, Carson City 89705.
