The third annual Douglas County Northern Nevada Senior Games are set for May 12-21 in Gardnerville. The games are open to all men and women over the age of 49.
Sports that will be contested during the games include: badminton, basketball, basketball skills, bowling, bunco, chess, croquet, cycling, golf, fun walk, horseshoes, pool, road racing, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, track and field, weight lifting and decathlon.
A registration fee ($15 before April 15, $20 after) allows an individual to participate in all sports.
