Surplus food will be distributed on Friday

Surplus food will be distributed Friday at the Carson Valley Community Food Closet from 8 a.m. to noon.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's program is for people who are on food stamps, seniors and those on Social Security who qualify. Each recipient must present identification, a food voucher and proof of income. For information regarding qualification, call Diane Maloneat 782-3711 from 1-4 p.m. today.
