A review of a groundwater recharge project will come before the Carson Water Subconservancy District today.

Doug Maurer of the U.S. Geological Survey Service will make the presentation and show the progress of the groundwater recharge project in the Pine Nut Range.

Updates on two Douglas County projects will be given:

- Tracy Taylor of the State Engineer's office will brief the board on the mapping of Douglas County water rights.

- The board will also continue discussion on the possible acceptance of Alpine County as a member of the multi-county Carson River monitoring agency. If accepted, Alpine County would become the first non-Nevada member of the district. Established by the Nevada State Legislature, members include Carson City, Lyon, Douglas and Churchill counties.

The district will meet in room 3137 of the Nevada Legislative Building beginning at 6:30 p.m.
