Free clinics on wild horses will be offered Saturday and June 10.
Saturday's clinic will be led by Al Cirelli, animal scientist with the University of Nevada, Reno in cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management.
The June 10 clinic will be a wild horse gentling and training demonstration by horse trainer Bryan Neubert, sponsored by the BLM in conjunction with the National Wild Horse and Burro Show.
Saturday's clinic is at the University of Nevada, Reno equestrian center on Valley Road in Reno.
Trainer Bryan Neubert will be in Reno on June 10 and 11 when he returns to demonstrate gentling and training techniques with the wild horses and burros being offered for adoption on June 11 at a 1 p.m. oral, competitive bid. The Neubert demonstration is at the Reno Livestock Events Center, 1350 N. Wells Ave. The demonstration begins at 9 a.m.
Potential wild horse and burro adopters who wish to attend the clinic are asked to call the BLM to preregister at (775) 861-6586. Clinics will last about four hours.
