A memorial service for Kenneth Wayne Smith, 43, a Carson City resident for the past three years, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Carson Valley Christian Center, 1095 Stephanie Way, Minden.
Mr. Smith died Dec. 24, 2001 as the result of an auto accident in Carson City. He was born Nov. 11, 1958, in Auburn, Calif., to William Raymond and Lois Wagner Smith.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Redding, Calif.
Mr. Smith was employed primarily as a laborer in residential construction. He was a member of the Carson Valley Harley Davidson Association in Carson City. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding and traveling.
Among his survivors are his father and stepmother William and Fern K. Smith of Prineville, Ore.; mother and stepfather Lois J. and Dale B. Smith of Carson City; brothers, John E. Inman of Portland, Ore. and Jimmie Smith of Carson City; sisters Elizabeth Stuart of Carson City and Raylene Golden of Minden and numerous nieces and nephews.
Inurnment will be at Ft. Bragg, Calif.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
