Mildred Mae Furgerson, 95, a Hawthorne resident, died Sept. 2, 2001 at Carson Healthcare. She was born Nov. 9, 1905, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Benton and Susan Fulton.
She had lived in Nevada for 51 years.
Mrs. Furgerson worked as a waitress from 1940 to 1955. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Among her survivors are her daughters Wilma Gaertner of Carson City, Marilyn G. Boyd of Hawthorne and Rebecca Sue Highmore of Carson City; son William L. Mullikin of Columbus, Ga.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
