Galena volleyball sweeps past Hug

The Galena volleyball team rolled to another easy win in a 15-3, 15-3, 15-9 win against Hug.

Lauren Wallace set up the attacke for Galena (15-4, 4-0) with 24 assists. Offensively, Joanna Hixon had seven kills, Whitney Dibble had six kills and Carly Kolesar added five kills.

Defensively, Teresa Miller had six digs, Whitney Haller had five digs and Hixon had four digs while Hixon and Dibble each had two blocks and Wallace added a block.

In serving, Miller served for nine points and two aces, Hixon served for eight points and an ace, Chelsea Appelbaum served for eight points and two aces, Wallace served for seven points and an ace and Emily Welmerink served for five points and an ace.
