A memorial service celebrating the life of Harry Dean Airy, 96, will be at 3 p.m. Sept. 22 at St. Paul's Lutheran Family, 1201 North Saliman Road.
Mr. Airy died Aug. 30, 2001. He was born April 23, 1905, in Rochester, N.Y.
He married Emily in 1927.
Mr. Airy retired in 1970 as a customer engineer for IBM after working for 47 years. He was a Mason, Royal Arch Mason, York Rite Mason, member of several lodges and orders of the Eastern Star in the Rochester, N.Y., and Carson City areas. He was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Family from 1982 to 1995.
He was preceded in death by his wife Emily in 1991.
Among his survivors are children Robert and wife Lorraine of Rochester, Arlene Airy of Rochester, Mary Lou Senger of Marion, N.Y., and George and wife Nevada of Grangeville Idaho; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
A graveside service was held in Marion Sept. 8.
