Friday-Sunday are the dates of the annual "Conclave 2001," A Festival of Fly Fishing.
That conclave will be held at the North Lake Tahoe Conference Center located at King's Beach, Calif., just off California S.R. 28.
Featured events will include:
A Friday cocktail party.
A Saturday evening banquet.
Numerous guest speakers.
Fly tying presentations by more than 60 premier fly tiers from Nevada, California, Oregon and the other western states.
Beginning-to-advanced fly casting instructions.
Women's programs.
Youth programs, including beginning casting and fly tying.
Exhibitors, including manufacturers, fishing guides, wildlife artists and fishing lodges.
And, other activities such as a live auction, silent auction and general raffle.
There will be a special guest appearance by distinguished fly fishing personality, Jim Teeny, one of fly fishing's greatest innovators.
The Conclave 2001 registration cost is $20 per person per day or $35 per family for the entire weekend. Daily registration of $10 per person will be available at the door.
The Friday night cocktail party and reception is $8 per person (includes appetizers and a No-Host bar).
The Saturday evening awards banquet is $30 per person for a prime rib dinner at the Crystal Bay Club at North Lake Tahoe (includes a live auction and raffle).
