The body of 33-year-old Amy Olsen from Sacramento, missing since October, was discovered Wednesday by a hiker.
According to an Alpine County Sheriff's report, the body was found outside her car, which was involved this fall in a single-vehicle accident near Airport Road off Highway 89 in Markleeville, Calif.
The vehicle was found down a steep wooded embankment and could not be seen from the road.
Her family reported her missing Oct. 29. Search efforts in October and November included foot, road and helicopter searches.
