A memorial service for Richanda J. White, 56, a Carson City resident for the past seven years, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Mrs. White died Dec. 10, 2002, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born July 31, 1946, in Alameda, Calif., to Ralph Parker and June Iris Mitchell.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in San Leandro, Calif.
Mrs. White worked for Harley-Davidson Credit Corp. for many years and was a licensed beautician. She was an avid collector of toy lions and was a bowler. She was an amateur actress for the Carson City Community Theater. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Among her survivors are her husband Richard, of Carson City; father Ralph Parker of Alameda, Calif.; mother June Parker of the San Francisco Bay area; sons Russell of Lemoore, Calif., Richard of Castro Valley, Calif., and Randall White of Point St. Lucy, Fla.; sisters Lorrie McGuire of Alameda, Melikean Jaykins of Myrtle Creek, Ore., and Apryl Jacque of Olympia, Wash.; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
