A funeral for Sondra Nicholson Watson, 70, a Gardnerville resident for the past two years, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's.
Mrs. Watson died Jan. 25, 2002, in Carson City. She was born Dec. 18, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., to Don and Lucille Cubitt Nicholson.
She attended schools in Lafayette, Calif. and Laytonville, Calif.
She married Elmer Watson Oct. 7, 1950, in Reno.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Elmira, Ore., for 14 years moving from Oakdale and Newark, Calif.
Mrs. Watson was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Loyal Rebekah Lodge 228 in Elmira.
Among her survivors are her husband, Elmer of Gardnerville; sons Wayne L. of Paso Robles, Calif., Richard T. of San Leandro, Calif. and Donald W. of Eugene; brother, John Nicholson of San Ramon, Calif.; sisters Shirley Dundas of Concord, Calif., and Janet Bates of Palm Desert, Calif.; grandchildren April, Matt, Jeff and Daniel and great-grandson Nathan.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory
